Lemon Garlic Baked Salmon

Ingredients:

  • 2 salmon fillets (6oz each)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

  • 1 tsp lemon zest

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

  • Lemon slices (for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400F°. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.

  2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, and zest.

  3. Place salmon fillets on the baking sheet, skin-side down. Brush the lemon-garlic mixture over the top.

  4. Season with salt and pepper.

  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices before serving.

Serving Suggestion:

Pair with steamed veggies, quinoa, or a side salad for a complete, nutrient-rich meal.
